Porsche is a German automobile manufacturer with headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany. In April of 1931, the company was founded under the name "Dr. Ing hc F. Porsche GmbH, construction and consulting services for engines and vehicles". One of the first orders received by Porsche was the Type 12 and the Type 32, which shared many characteristics with the VW Beetle. The first truly successful design of the Porsche factory, however, made Auto Union racing cars famous. The model was considered for Grand Prix races and had a 16-cylinder mid-engine.

InFrom 1934, the Office of the National Association of the Automotive Industry was commissioned. During World War II, Porsche orders for the construction of container and floating cars were made. From 1944 to 1950, the company was moved to its present location, and the first car appeared in 1947 with the name "Porsche"- the 356 No. 1 Roadster which then went on production of a small scale.

In 1963, continuous mass production of the 356 model in Stuttgart followed with the introduction of the famous marketing of the 911. The year 1972 saw the resignation of the Porsche family members due to numerous disputes about the rights. In the same year, Porsche KG was restructured to Porsche AG.

After the 1996 business year, Porsche was knownfound as one of the most profitable car manufacturers in the world, and continues to be so to this day.

Has Your Porsche Auto Warranty Expired or is it About to Expire?

Porsche is one of those dealers that offers something no other manufacturer will. Along with the normal 4 year / 50,000 mile Wear Item Limited Warranty that you get when you purchase a new vehicle, they offer a “CPO” program in which you can get an additional 2 years or 100,000 miles tacked on to your original warranty.

The Powertrain Limited Warranty stays the same as your basic warranty, as is the case with most manufacturers, at 4 years or 50,000 miles. This is going to covers all the major parts of your engine like the transmission, axles, drive shafts and so on.

Whenever you buy a new car, safety is always a primary concern. Porsche has one of the best safety records on the market. In fact, there is a Seat Belt Lifetime Warranty offered as long as you own your vehicle and if anything ever goes wrong with the seat belt you can get it fixed for free.

Why Extend Your Porsche Auto Warranty?

Though your Porsche is covered for 4 years or 50,000 miles, once the manufacturer’s warranty runs out the full cost of repairs rests on your shoulders. For many, the price of that first major repair causes financial distress, as well as a decent amount of emotional anxiety. While repairs are inevitable, high repair costs can be avoided with a vehicle service contract.

Vehicle service contracts (formerly called extended auto warranties) extend the manufacturer’s warranty for a set number of miles or years. Though your Porsche is covered by the powertrain warranty after the bumper-to-bumper warranty expires, powertrain warranties only cover about ¼ of your car’s total components. The other ¾ of your Porsche’s parts can be covered with a wrap vehicle service contract. A wrap vehicle service contract starts only after the original warranty expires, and augments the powertrain warranty by including items previously covered.

For owners who plan to keep their Porsche past the warranty expiration date, a vehicle service contract is a solid investment that can save you thousands. At Vehicle Protection Headquarters, we strive to save you more by offering affordable protection contracts that often pay for themselves after just one major repair. We also work with you to ensure that the coverage plan you buy fits your vehicle’s needs.
